Sr Manager, Schwab Wealth Advisory Offer Management
Your Opportunity
Your opportunity
At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the wealth management industry together.
We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and expect the selected candidate to work on site four days per week in one of the specified locations.
The SWA Client and Offer Experience team defines and evolves the end-to-end experiences that shape how Schwab Wealth Advisory (“SWA”) clients engage with the offer and how employees deliver it. Team members bring the SWA value proposition to life by translating strategic priorities into experiences, processes, and capabilities that drive meaningful outcomes for clients, advisors, and the business.
The team partners across Wealth and Advice Solutions, Investor Services, Operations, Marketing, Technology, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and other enterprise partners to translate client needs, field insights, business priorities, and data into strategic initiatives that improve offer delivery, strengthen the advisor and client experience, and drive measurable business outcomes.
We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead the offer strategy, design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of a more integrated SWA + Schwab Personal Trust Services (“PTS”) offer experience. This individual contributor role will lead through partnerships and influence, combining strong strategy and offer management skills with disciplined project execution to take an evolving concept from initial exploration to a functioning, scalable client offer.
As a Senior Manager, you will:
- Own the SWA + PTS offer across its full lifecycle, from strategy, business case, and concept design through approvals, implementation, launch, and ongoing evolution.
- Design a coordinated client and advisor experience with SWA as the relationship entry point and clear responsibilities across Wealth Advisors and PTS.
- Translate strategic choices into a practical offer and operating model
- Lead disciplined cross-enterprise execution, establishing workstreams, governance, milestones, decision points, resource needs, dependencies, risks, and accountability; securing alignment and approvals; and escalating issues with clear recommendations.
- Build alignment and communicate a clear path forward, influencing senior leaders and cross-functional partners without direct authority by leveraging executive-ready narratives and navigating competing perspectives and trade-offs.
- Own post-launch performance and continued improvement, defining measures of client and advisor experience, adoption, service quality, operational capacity, and business outcomes, and using results and feedback to prioritize enhancements.
You are likely a strong fit for this role if you:
- Think like a strategist and operate like an owner
- Bring strong consulting and structured problem-solving skills
- Excel at program and project leadership
- Influence across complex organizations
- Communicate with clarity and take initiative – you must be a self-starter
- Remain constructive and adaptable when plans change
What you have
This role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have including:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of professional experience in offer or product management, strategy consulting, internal strategy, business transformation, program leadership, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from early strategy and design through approvals, implementation, launch, and ongoing improvement.
- Strong strategic and offer management capabilities, including market and competitive research, client insights, business-case development, service and operating-model design, and creating executive-level recommendations.
- Proven program and project management capabilities, including establishing governance, developing phased roadmaps, coordinating delivery teams, and managing resources, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and build alignment across organizational boundaries without direct authority, supported by exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A high degree of comfort with ambiguity and a changing environment, demonstrated through adaptability, resilience, intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and a positive, collaborative approach to resolving unknowns.
- Strongly preferred: prior offer management and/or strategy experience in wealth management and/or personal trust services (including, for example, corporate trustee services, and/or tax, trust and estate wealth services).
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without employer sponsorship.
