The 1st Line of Defense Risk Management Office (1RMO) partners with business units to implement effective Risk Monitoring and Management practices. The First Line Risk Management Solutions (1RMS) team’s role is to accelerate scale through reporting, analytics, and product management. We help our stakeholders make data-driven, risk intelligent decisions by developing business intelligence (BI) reporting that provide actionable insights and maximize business value. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions (analytic reporting and dashboards) using available BI tools. This role is fitting for someone who can act as an end-to-end developer and is a self-starter who can solution stakeholders’ needs.
What you’ll do:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business operations and decision-making.
- Write efficient, well-documented SQL queries to extract and transform data from multiple sources.
- Use Python for data wrangling, automation, and light analytics tasks.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand business needs and deliver solutions accordingly.
- Apply data governance principles to ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Support data documentation, metadata management, and data lineage efforts.
- Monitor and optimize existing reporting processes for performance and reliability.
What you have
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or related fields.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases.
- Experiencing using Tableau, Power BI, or other business intelligence platforms.
- Familiarity with Python for scripting, data processing, or automation. (preferred)
- Understanding of data governance concepts, such as data quality, stewardship, and cataloging.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical findings to nontechnical stakeholders
