We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in Westlake, TX.
The Schwab Advisor Services RIA Internship Program is a structured summer learning experience within Advisor Services. This program serves as the overall RIA Program and may include placement opportunities across different business areas that support independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firms. Participants gain exposure to how Schwab partners with advisors by providing custody, trading, technology, and practice management solutions that help advisors serve their clients and grow their businesses.
Based in Westlake, Texas, the program runs from June 7, 2027 through July 30, 2027 and provides a full-time, on-site experience. Through a combination of experiential learning, educational programming, project work, and interaction with business professionals and the RIA industry, participants will develop an understanding of advisor business operations, industry dynamics, and the financial services landscape. Participants will work alongside teams across Advisor Services, contribute to research and business initiatives, engage with internal and external stakeholders, and present key insights and recommendations in a professional setting.
Successful participants bring intellectual curiosity, strong communication abilities, sound judgment, and a desire to learn. They enjoy analyzing information from multiple sources, collaborating with others to solve problems, and adapting quickly to new concepts and business challenges. Throughout the program, participants will receive exposure to industry professionals, deepen their understanding of the Registered Investment Advisor industry, and gain valuable experience within a leading financial services organization.
