Job Duties: Advance the Next Generation Order Management System (ngOMS) platform's pipeline resiliency, adaptability, and speed to production. Diagnose and resolve complex issues with the Java tools we utilize for automation, delivery, and the software development lifecycle. Collaborate with the Development, QA, Product teams, and SRE teams to optimize the environments and tooling. Design, configure, and support FIX service modules to establish secure communication with market makers, as well as configure and manage trade routing logic to enable accurate order flow to external exchanges.
Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.
What you have
Job Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 60 months of progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience in a related occupation.
Experience must include 48 months of experience involving the following: Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for large scale Java based systems utilizing Jenkins pipelines with Groovy based DSL scripting, Artifactory for artifact management, and Bitbucket for version control; Build and dependency automation for multi module Java monorepos, including Gradle and Maven configuration, artifact versioning strategies, RPM/ZIP packaging, and integration with enterprise artifact repositories (Artifactory or Nexus) used in automated deployment pipelines; Leading and designing source control and release management using Git based workflows, including branch strategy design, pull request governance, versioned releases, and coordination of multi environment deployments in production systems; Infrastructure as Code and configuration management using Puppet based frameworks, including ENC implementations, Hiera YAML hierarchies, and Foreman based node lifecycle management, combined with production RHEL administration (systemd services, package lifecycle, SELinux, firewall configuration, storage, and scheduled automation); Production support and troubleshooting of JVM based applications, including analysis of thread dumps, heap and garbage collection logs, and system level log analysis to diagnose and resolve performance, stability, and availability issues; Configuring and maintaining FIX 4.2 and FIXT 1.1 session parameters, including CompID routing, heartbeat configuration, and FIX data dictionary management, to support stable and secure connectivity to/from the ngOMS application and market makers; and Application security testing using Veracode SAST scanning and BlackDuck software composition analysis integrated into Jenkins based CI/CD pipelines as part of secure SDLC practices.
