We are seeking a diligent and experienced Trust Officer to join our team. The Trust Officer will be responsible for the professional administration of a book of assigned trust accounts, ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures; as well as, legal and regulatory requirements, all while providing exceptional service to clients. You will be the point of contact for a portfolio of trust accounts and oversee all aspects of trust administration, including, but not limited to: effectively establishing and maintaining strong client relationships, accurately interpreting and applying trust provisions, documenting and carrying out distributions, providing sound record keeping, and completing timely account reviews, while working closely with investment advisors, trust beneficiaries, internal partners and various centers of influence within the account relationship.
What you have
Required qualifications:
- 5 + years of experience in personal trust administration serving as the primary point of contact with an assigned book of business.
- Strong knowledge of the principles of trust administration; preferred experience in administering trusts governed by either Delaware or Nevada law
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelors degree strongly preferred
- CTFA or equivalent work experience
- Experience with directed trusts
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interface with a variety of people
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
