Duties: Research, design, and develop web application software. Work on multiple projects, creating and maintaining responsive single-page Web Applications and Web APIs as needed. Develop new concepts and features, working alongside development peers in an agile environment. Serve as an informal leader, leading code reviews and mentoring junior team members. Partner with the scrum master and product owner to provide development sizing and cost analysis estimates. Utilize automated software test tools and frameworks, such as test-driven development, to achieve the highest quality in software delivery. Support integration efforts to build whole systems from various subsystems. Identify technology risks early and establish mitigation plans. Communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

Job Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and 60 months of progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience in a related occupation. . Experience must include 60 months of experience involving the following: Angular framework development, including component creation, service implementation, routing configuration, and state management using NgRx or similar libraries; JavaScript/TypeScript programming, including coding with ES6+ features, async/await patterns, decorators, and modern JavaScript frameworks; Node.js backend development, including Express.js server creation, middleware implementation, package management with npm/yarn, and server-side JavaScript execution; Bootstrap and responsive design implementation, including grid system usage, component customization, mobile-first design principles, and CSS3/SCSS styling; .NET framework development, including ASP.NET Core API creation, Entity Framework integration, middleware implementation, and C# server-side programming; RESTful API development and integration, including .NET Web API creation, HTTP client services, JSON data handling, and authentication token management; and Unit testing frameworks, including Jasmine, Karma, Jest for frontend, and MSTest, xUnit, NUnit for .NET backend, with test-driven development.
We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
