Job Responsibilities: Facilitate Agile development for various company software products and services. Share status reports, communicate accomplishments, issues, and risks to product stakeholders. Help Product Owner planning and road mapping discussions, as well as analyze and interpret sprint metrics. Facilitate Sprint Retrospectives and capture info and summarize as sprint planning input. Review action items and ensures complex business solutions are delivered in a timely fashion. Collaborate with Product Owner and team to determine agenda for the review. Work with Product Owner to administer, prepare, refine, prioritize and right-size backlog. Fosters team's self-organization and remove distractions, impediments, and roadblocks are removed. Facilitate regular agile events to ensure progress. Find techniques for effective product backlog management. Communicates product vision with the Product Owner, roadmap and product backlog items to the development team. Coach the team on how to execute the Scrum processes. Ensures application of agile principles and understanding and practicing agility. Facilitate tasking process or charge the team with what needs to be accomplished so that team can self-organize and accomplish sprint goals. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.
What you have
Job Requirements: Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Requires 36 months of experience in a related occupation. Experience must include 36 months involving the following: Coach the team on Agile methodology and setup Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming, Lean, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in Jira or Rally. Implement agile engineering practices like test automation, TDD, ATDD, BDD, and FDD; Team lead activities including eliminating roadblocks and coordinating dependencies. Facilitate agile team discussions and encourage alternatives or different approaches. Review setup and validate layouts in Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tools including Hyperscience. Assist in smoke testing and verify cases in Operational Decision Management (ODM) tools including PEGA. Jira Portfolio setup including maintaining application technical and business documentation in SharePoint or Confluence. Cross-functional coordination of various stakeholders including internal, external, business, peers, and leadership.
We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
