Workplace Services (WS) delivers retirement, stock plan, and compliance solutions to employers and employees. We provide an end-to-end experience to plan sponsors and participants—platforms, products, services, education, and advice—empowering participants to engage with their finances and plan for retirement, often as first-time investors.

As Senior Manager, Product Management, you will help drive the strategy, development, and implementation of advice, planning, and guidance solutions within the Retirement Plan Solutions (RPS) business. This individual contributor role partners cross-functionally with Digital & Technology, Legal & Compliance, Marketing, Sales, and Service teams to expand and enhance advice solutions for RPS clients.

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving Operational Success: Serve as a subject matter expert for onboarding new advice solutions and ensuring seamless ongoing operations. Develop and maintain operating procedures, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.
  • Strategic Enhancements: Drive enhancements to the managed accounts solutions and overall advice strategy. Collaborate with advice providers to evaluate opportunities, define business rules, and translate requirements into actionable business cases. Partner with RPS Digital to develop, test, and measure approved enhancements using KPIs/OKRs.
  • Client Migration Support: Act as a subject matter expert and collaborate closely with client-facing and conversion teams to support plans that are migrating to an advice service, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal client experience.
  • Risk & Oversight: Conduct product oversight and risk management, including audit support, risk control documentation, due diligence, and remediation implementation.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee ongoing vendor relationship, governance, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). Facilitate contract renewals, updates, invoicing and reporting.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong internal relationships and connect initiatives across multiple groups to serve client needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in product management or business strategy.
  • Deep expertise in financial services, managed accounts, and financial planning solutions; regulatory knowledge is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently, with strong communication, coordination, and project management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics, develop recommendations, manage spreadsheets/pivot tables, and create presentations for management.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
