Security Operations is looking for a highly-motivated, self-driven individual well-versed in investment operations, data validation and business analysis. The team is responsible for reporting, data integrity, operational and technical support, as well as general business support, project management and governance functions for the funds. It is anticipated that this role will be a blend of operations and analyst support for the Schwab funds, particularly our money market and bond funds.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Set up and maintain entities and securities and relevant attributes within the Aladdin System
- Validation and monitoring of internal and external credit ratings, outlooks and watches
- Request final documentation and perform review for accuracy and material changes
- Identifying and implementing operational process and productivity improvements to enhance control and ensure data integrity
- Work with business partners to research/resolve issues related to data discrepancies
- Assist in the creation and updating of policies and procedures in OneNote
- Perform on-going surveillance and validation of large amounts of data for compliance and reporting purposes

What you have
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Business, Economics, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience within the financial services industry specifically in fixed income and investment management operations
- PC literacy with a high level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office suite applications; Strong Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
- Experience with Bloomberg and Blackrock Aladdin System
- Strong organizational and time management skills
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
