Your Opportunity

Overview:
- Lead “always-on” campaign management for high-priority corporate communications initiatives, proactively orchestrating integrated approaches that sustain momentum, amplify key brand narratives, and ensure agile response to emerging opportunities and challenges.
- Identify and support high impact speaking engagement opportunities for select members of Charles Schwab’s corporate executive council and spokespeople, partnering to secure placements at premier financial and business events.
- Support message development and management, drafting compelling messages and content —including keynotes, panel remarks, media statements, op-eds, and digital commentary that are tailored for both industry and consumer audiences.
- Develop communications content for range of external needs, ensuring consistent, impactful communications across external channels and audiences.
- Partner with Schwab’s Corporate Digital Reputation Team on “digital-first” approaches to external communications, leveraging a mix of owned, earned, and paid digital channels to maximize reach and engagement.
- Develop and implement a forward-looking communications approach to identify and engage new and emerging media profiles, digital outlets, and influential personas, cultivating relationships that expand the organization’s reach and ensuring message resonance within rapidly evolving media landscapes.
- Collaborate closely with key partners in Corporate Affairs and across the firm, including marketing, legal, compliance, investor relations, and business unit teams, among others, to ensure alignment, accuracy, and amplification of messaging across all touchpoints.
- Monitor and measure communications impact using advanced media analytics; recommend and implement continuous improvements for greater influence and reputation protection.
- Partner closely with a high-performance team of communications professionals and agency partners, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and integrity.
Please Note: We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s). This role is expected to be in the office 4 days a week.
