CMFO is a cross-functional team that facilitates multiple functions within Mutual Fund Operations. Including, but not limited to: Trading, Dividends, Trade Corrections, Contracts, Sub Accounting and Vendor Relationships.

Individuals in this role must have the ability to maintain a good working relationship with our external Clearing Correspondents, external Mutual Fund Companies and Transfer Agents, and internal business partners. A successful candidate will be adaptable to change and

work collaboratively with cross-location business partners.

In this role you will:

The Team Manager will be responsible for strategy building, project management, and leading a functional team within the Mutual Fund Operations. The primary priority is directing the day-to-day operations of the Clearing Mutual Fund Trading team and leading them through change and modernization.

  • Leading by example
  • Reviewing existing processes to identify opportunities
  • Ensuring day-to-day operational efficiency
  • Providing direction and strategy
  • Coaching and mentoring team members
  • Assessing staff training needs
  • Team-building and motivating staff

 Required Qualifications: 

  • 5 + years mutual fund industry experience
  • 5 + years Clearing Operations experience
  • 5 + years financial services experience
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making acumen
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including with external partners
  • Well-organized with suitable time management skills
  • Self-starter and proven ability to work independently with little supervision

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
