Clearing Mutual Fund Operations (CMFO) aims to lead the industry through excellent customer service, a wide range of products, and professional staff. CMFO oversees key Mutual Fund Operations functions such as Trading, Dividends, Trade Corrections, Contracts, Sub Accounting, and Vendor Relations. Team members must collaborate well with external and internal partners, adapt to change, and work effectively across locations.
The Team Manager will be responsible for strategy building, project management, and leading a functional team within Mutual Fund Operations. The primary priority is directing the day-to-day operations of the Clearing Mutual Fund Trading team and leading them through change and modernization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading by example
- Reviewing existing processes to identify opportunities
- Ensuring day-to-day operational efficiency
- Providing direction and strategy
- Coaching and mentoring team members
- Assessing staff training needs
- Team-building and motivating staff
What you have

Required Qualifications:
- Series 7 and Series 63 licenses
- 5 + years mutual fund industry experience
- 5 + years Clearing Operations experience
- 5 + years financial services experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent analytical and decision-making acumen
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including with external partners
- Self-starter and proven ability to work independently with little supervision
In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
