The Operations Strategy & Transformation team resides in the Operational Services Group at Charles Schwab and is responsible for executing a wide range of strategic activities that drive transformation. The Organizational Readiness team within Operations Strategy & Transformation drives people transformation through meaningful career and employee experiences that equip and empower Operational Services to deliver for our clients. Examples of the group’s activities include:
- Develop frameworks for various initiatives that drive operational efficiency and leadership readiness (scale and automation initiatives, people development, etc.)
- Provide thought partnership to our Operational Services business leaders on a range of topics(e.g., strategies & tactics to support the employee experience, reward & recognition, employee & leader development)
- Create executive level read outs to facilitate decision making and support ongoing business needs (townhalls, people leader updates, etc.)
- Create program-level deliverables for large Ops-wide transformation initiatives (strategic change and communications, training, rewards & recognition, etc.)
We are seeking a Learning Transformation Manager to execute our Operational Services development strategy and to build necessary muscle within our organization to drive a self-sustaining transformation culture. This role will provide facilitation expertise to audiences of all levels within Ops. You’ll deliver across a variety of mediums (both in-person and virtually) high-quality content created by trusted vendors as well as internally developed courses on a wide range of topics.
In this role, you will deliver innovative, high-quality learning experiences. You will work with business partners to align their learning needs, develop a tailored solution, and build strong relationships. You will promote services with business partners and manage Learning Delivery projects and programs, ensuring the requirements of each program and associated projects are analyzed, designed, developed, implemented and that success is measured and appropriately sustained.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years’ learning delivery experience in a similarly sized organization of scale and complexity.
- Expertise in the management, delivery, and support of learning and development programs.
- Experience and expertise in learning analysis using the ADDIE framework to build training content and programs.
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding delivery skills, including ability to use delivery technology effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Learning Delivery certifications, such as ATD Master Trainer and leadership development course certifications, such as Blanchard or Covey.
- Effectively facilitates meaningful discussions to pull learning concepts and commitment from participants.
- Establishes credibility with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and coaching peers and/or employees.
- Strong project and program management skills to deliver meaningful results and impact to our employees.
- Comfortable engaging with various levels of management and engaging on a wide variety of complex topics
- Experience dealing with ambiguity in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment; self-starter and highly resourceful, with a ‘get things done’ with limited direction attitude.
- Leads by example through demonstration of the leadership behaviors defined in the Schwab Leadership Imperatives.
- Works effectively with minimal supervision.
- Provides helpful, behaviorally specific feedback to others.
- Willingly seeks, accepts, and applies feedback and coaching to foster personal development.
- Highly resourceful and collaborative individual who thrives on learning, collaboration, knowledge sharing, building strong relationships, and guiding others.
