DAFgiving360™ is an independent nonprofit organization created to increase charitable giving in the U.S. We offer a donor-advised fund program and related philanthropic tools and guidance that empower donors to incorporate charitable planning into their everyday lives and make a bigger difference in the world. Since our founding in 1999 as an 501(c)(3) public charity, DAFgiving360 donors have recommended over $50 billion in grants to more than 295,000 charities.
DAFgiving360 has entered into a services agreement with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. for administrative and other services, including human resources. This position will be an employee of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and will be subject to its policies and procedures but will report to and be accountable to DAFgiving360 for day-to-day activities.
The Director, Strategy & Offer Management plays a critical enterprise leadership role, responsible for setting DAFgiving360’s strategic direction and translating strategy into actionable priorities that drive growth, improve the donor and advisor experience, and strengthen organizational execution. This role partners closely with the senior leadership team, the Board, and cross functional leaders to ensure strategic clarity, disciplined prioritization, and strong connection between long-term ambition and near-term delivery.
The role leads core capabilities including strategy, offer management, market and donor insights, competitive intelligence, and strategic planning—ensuring DAFgiving360’s offer remains relevant, differentiated, and aligned to evolving donor, advisor, and market needs.
In this role you will:
- Set and steward enterprise strategy by partnering with executive leaders and the Board to define long-term strategic priorities, growth ambitions, and key tradeoffs that advance DAFgiving360’s mission and business objectives
- Translate strategy into execution by establishing clear strategic plans, success measures, and governance that connect enterprise priorities to funded initiatives and day-to-day work across teams
- Lead offer strategy and management across DAFgiving360’s products and services, ensuring offers are clearly defined, well positioned, and continuously refined based on donor, advisor, and market insights
- Provide market, donor, and advisor insight leadership through research and competitive intelligence that inform strategic decisions, experience design, and investment prioritization
- Partner across the organization—including Marketing, Service & Operations, Technology, Growth, Legal & Compliance, and Schwab partners—to align strategy, execution, and resource allocation
- Guide enterprise planning and prioritization by shaping annual and multiyear planning processes, framing strategic choices, and supporting leadership decision-making with clear analysis and recommendations
- Build and lead a high performing team by setting clear expectations, developing talent, and fostering strong cross functional collaboration and influence.
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders, helping connect external trends, internal performance, and future opportunities to practical actions and outcomes
What you have
Required:
- 10+ years of experience leading strategy, offer management, or related functions within financial services, wealth management, fintech, or a similarly complex, regulated environment
- Demonstrated success partnering with senior executives and boards on enterprise strategy, growth initiatives, and major investment decisions
- Strong ability to connect strategic thinking to execution with proven experience leveraging OKRs—moving from insight and analysis to clear priorities, decisions, and results
- Experience in direct people leadership and developing high performing teams, with a focus on talent growth, clarity of roles, and accountability
- Deep understanding of customer centric strategy, including use of market research, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform decisions
- Proven ability to influence across functions and navigate ambiguity, complexity, and change
- Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesize complex topics into clear, actionable narratives for diverse audiences and create crisp and visually compelling PowerPoint presentations for board-level decision making
- Exceptional facilitation skills, with experience designing and leading multi-day executive planning sessions and extended Board meetings to drive alignment, surface trade-offs, and enable decision-making
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred:
- Strong understanding of the RIA industry is strongly preferred, including familiarity with advisor business models, regulatory considerations, and distribution dynamic; awareness of charitable giving solutions (DAFs, private foundations, etc.)
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent)
- 5+ years of direct people leadership preferred
