This is an opportunity for driven, consultative sales professional who enjoys building relationships, navigating complexity, and influencing outcomes in a fast-paced, advisor-centric environment.

Your day-to-day impact includes:

  • Prospecting and engaging independent advisors with $12MM- $100MM in AUM through outbound and cold-calling efforts, leading conversations that explore independence or a new custodial relationship across wirehouse, independent broker-dealer, trust bank, and fee-based channels.
  • Leading consultative sales conversations to understand advisor goals and position Schwab solutions
  • Managing complex sales cycles, including discovery, pricing discussions, and close
  • Partnering with Relationship Management, Service, and Marketing representatives as we onboard new relationships and you transition them into the ongoing support model
  • Guiding advisors through onboarding milestones and welcome activities to set the foundation for a successful long-term relationship
  • This is a phone-based sales role that does not travel.  It is an outbound prospecting and virtual advisor engagement sales role.

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site at one of these specified locations.

Our ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial self-starter; and have a validated ability to exceed quarterly goals as set by the company.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Active and valid FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses
  • At least three years of experience driving proactive sales in the financial services industry
  • Ability to navigate and lead complex business-to-business sales conversations from discovery to close
  • Strong interpersonal skills, comprehensive industry knowledge, comfort with new relationships and cold calling opportunities
  • Brings real-world experience and understanding of competitors’ products, sales tactics, and weaknesses— and knows how to use that insight in conversations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting advisors from wirehouse, independent broker-dealer, or trust bank channels
  • Familiarity with advisory custody platforms, onboarding processes, and transition planning
  • Comfort using data, insights, and market intelligence to tailor sales strategies

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
