We are hiring for 3 different sub tracks - Enterprise Finance, Treasury, and Corporate Vendor Management. Within the Corporate Finance department, we are hiring two sub tracks- Enterprise Finance and Treasury.  In Our Strategy and Administration department we are hiring one sub track - Corporate Vendor Management.  Within all of these tracks, there will be inspiring opportunities that welcome you into the Schwab culture and immerse you into your role. Enterprise Finance (location Westlake, TX, Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA, Omaha, NE)

Enterprise Finance teams provide analytical and decision support to various business segments and product lines across the organization. Through a combination of collaboration and strategic partnership with each business, our goal is to provide the financial insight and knowledge to our leadership teams, facilitating value adding decisions. Interns joining these teams will support focuses around forecasting, investment prioritization through business cases, financial reporting, performance scorecard/metrics, process improvement and ad-hoc analytics including theme development and trend discovery within month-end close activities. The Central Planning finance team provides analytical and decision support to all of Schwab’s business lines by collaborating with each Finance team within Enterprise Finance. Our goal is to provide consolidated financial insights and knowledge to our executive leadership team, facilitating value adding decisions. The team support focuses on forecasting, investment prioritization, performance scorecard/metrics, ad-hoc analytics and reporting experience in support of corporate leadership. The Enterprise Finance summer internship is the primary pipeline for full-time opportunities into our 2-year Finance Specialist Rotational Program.

Treasury (location Denver, CO, Westlake, TX)

The Treasury Corporate Finance team includes Treasury Capital Management, Treasury Services and Treasury Capital Analytics & Reporting. The ALCO Reporting group within Treasury Capital Management owns the Asset-Liability Committee and other reporting processes for senior management, executive and board-level committees of the Corporation and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with all related policies, procedures, and regulations.  The intern will participate in data analysis and preparation and review of monthly executive reporting. In your role, you will learn how the Treasury Capital Management group develops and manages the capital strategies for the corporation and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with all related policies, procedures and banking regulations.  You will participate in capital management by maintaining and updating financial forecasts and assisting in monthly and quarterly reporting.  The work is performed across the organization and under tight deadlines. The Treasury Services team manages Schwab's relationships with external banks ensuring that Schwab maintains access to credit, liquidity, and banking services to support our operations.  This includes working with Schwab Corporate Vendor Management and Legal to negotiate contractual agreements with external banks.  In addition, Treasury Services participates on cross-functional initiatives involving banking, funds movement, cashiering policies, procedures, and systems. 

Corporate Vendor Management (location Denver, CO, Westlake, TX)

The Corporate Vendor Management (CVM) organization is looking for Interns to perform key vendor management lifecycle activities to support Schwab’s use of vendors across the company. The CVM department is responsible for implementing a firm-wide vendor management process to maximize vendor performance and optimize value. The interns will experience rotations to gain exposure across the vendor lifecycle. You will have a unique chance to understand the daily vendor management functions and gain department-wide knowledge through 1x1 interactions, providing ideas for process improvements, and project work. You will partner with members of the CVM team to understand the department’s processes, regulatory requirements, systems, and data. Through this work, you will understand the importance of collaboration between CVM teams and gain exposure to business units across the company.

Required Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a university program and be able to start full-time employment between August 2025-September 2026. 
  • Ability to work full time (40 hours) and be on-site at one of the Schwab locations for the duration of the 9-week program (June 9 to August 8, 2025)

  • Excellent organizational skills, enabling one to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to build strong relationships and to work effectively with various levels of the organization

Corporate Vendor Management

  • Adaptable to change and managing a workload in a dynamic environment
  • Innovative, client-focused approach to problem solving
  • Collaborative, team-player when working with cross-functional stakeholders at various levels
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to tailor messages to audience and senior leadership
  • Proficiency in reporting, analysis, and critical thinking.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, enabling one to manage multiple priorities and projects, while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Exposure / experience with Tableau, Alteryx and / or Microsoft Power Platform or related low-code / no-code environment preferred (unique to Data & Insights role)
  • Previous experience with data analysis and automation (unique to Data & Insights role)

Target Total Compensation - $30-37/hour
