We’re seeking a QA Engineer to lead program level end to end (E2E) test planning and execution across complex, distributed systems. You will own the QA strategy and delivery for high impact initiatives, establish and scale Performance Test Automation, and drive the readiness of non production environments including Performance so teams can release confidently and on time. This role combines hands on engineering with leadership—partnering with product, engineering, and operations to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years in Software QA Engineering with a strong record of delivering quality in complex programs.
- 5+ years leading E2E test programs across multiple applications and partners.
- 4+ years hands‑on Performance Testing including PE framework design and CI/CD integration.
- Experience defining and executing multi‑year QA roadmaps and program‑level test strategies aligned to organizational objectives.
- Proven collaboration with business and technology stakeholders; clear communication of risks, decisions, and sign‑offs.
- Expertise in collaborating and leading the E2E QA and UAT coordinators, test environments, and test data pipelines to support concurrent change.
- Provide QA sign off and RCA recommendations for new implementations to the Business Sponsor and ensure it is established as part of the Go/No Go process.
- Ensure that Risk Based testing techniques are applied where necessary
- Ensure the Test approach on a project is agreed and adhered to.
- Ensure all testing deliverables are of a high quality by ensuring that team members adhere to the quality review cycles as detailed within the overall Test Strategy
- Ensure all test reporting and updates are accurate.
- Ensure all risks and issues are documented, managed and appropriate action taken.
- Ability to think creatively and generate innovative solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in Agile Frameworks - SAFe & Scrum
- Performance Automation and Process Optimization framework design & implementation
- Lead and inspire teams through complex and often changing circumstances
- Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Splunk, Postman, Mabl, Grafana, Chaos Monkey, JMeter etc tools
- Experience with hands on coding Java/Jscript/Selenium/ Any BDD Driven Automation frameworks
- Deep understanding of exploratory testing practices
- Working knowledge of industry-standard tools for logging bugs and managing test cases (e.g., JIRA/MTM, Zephyr/HPQ)
- Proven ability to successfully balance and deliver multiple geographically distributed QA projects with concurrent releases
- Hands-on experience with Web services virtualization and Test Data Management
- Comfortable representing QA in product code reviews
- Ability to scope, size, and oversee risk-assessments across complex projects and schedules
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and Lean DevOps methodologies
- Financial/Trading services industry experience is a plus
