As a Senior Equity Compensation Planner, you'll help clients turn complex stock compensation programs into confident financial decisions. Partnering with clients and a collaborative team of planning professionals, you'll integrate equity compensation strategies into comprehensive financial plans that support long-term goals and strengthen client relationships. You'll make a meaningful impact while continuing to grow your expertise through mentorship, innovative technology, and ongoing development opportunities.
You will:
- Use Client Relationship Management and Communication skills to build trust, uncover client goals, and deliver personalized planning guidance.
- Apply Analytical Thinking and financial planning expertise to develop equity compensation strategies and actionable recommendations.
- Leverage Consultative Communications to simplify complex equity compensation concepts and help clients make informed decisions.
- Partner across Schwab using Cross-Functional Collaboration and Partnership Development skills to deliver integrated planning solutions.
- Demonstrate strong Organization, Time Management, and Attention to Detail while managing multiple client relationships and planning priorities.
What you have
Required Qualifications
- CFP® certification
- Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 63/65 or 66 licenses
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of financial services experience
- Demonstrated success applying Client Relationship Management, Analytical Thinking, Consultative Communications, Cross-Functional Collaboration, and Time Management skills to drive positive client outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Insurance licensing
- 3+ years of equity compensation planning experience
- Experience with stock options, RSUs, stock awards, and stock appreciation rights
- Entrepreneurial Orientation and a proactive, client-focused mindset
- Experience leveraging technology and data to enhance planning outcomes and client experiences
