International Financial Consultants manage a practice of HNW international clients located in their assigned region.  International Regions include EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Americas (South America, Central America, and Canada).

International Financial Consultants are expected to manage a large group of assigned client households while simultaneously developing new and existing relationships within their region through proactive and regular business development activities. Expected activities include developing deep relationships with practice clients to reduce attrition risk, encouraging asset consolidation, introducing to advisory services, and building a referral network. This is a proactive-client-contact role where a high number of activities and unique contacts each day are critical to meeting the performance expectations and high practice penetration.

Additional role responsibilities include:

  • As a regional Financial Consultant, you will be the dedicated relationship point of contact for your assigned clients.  In this role you will help your assigned practice clients navigate the US markets, identify their financial goals, and find the appropriate products and services through Schwab.
  • Since your clients are located across multiple jurisdictions over a large geographic area, your contact will mostly be over the phone or through video meetings.  Understanding the unique needs of these multiple jurisdictions is critical and will require flexibility in terms of scheduling client meetings, outbound calling, and practice engagement time.  This is a high-contact and high-activity role where scheduling working hours based on the needs of your clients will be required.  To that end, it will be common practice to sometimes start your day early or late to ensure you are meeting client’s preferred contact time.
  • You will manage a large client practice in this role.  Contacting these clients to understand their needs and contact preferences is key to being successful and ensuring you maintain the expected practice penetration levels.  Additionally, you will work to grow your active practice through ongoing proactive business development, building trust, and earning a strong referral network.

Reports to the following company office locations in Orlando, Westlake, or Austin and is not available as fully remote. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
