2026 Charles Schwab Finance Internship - Treasury Modeling Team
Your Opportunity
Your opportunity
At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.
Throughout the 9-week paid Finance internship within the Treasury Modeling Team, there will be inspiring opportunities that welcome you into the Schwab culture and immerse you into your role. The interactive program focuses on a variety of opportunities which feature a business track project, an intern cohort project, learning activities, volunteering in the community, a dedicated intern leader, networking, and exploring your unique personal strengths!
As a summer intern in the Treasury Modeling team, you will have a front-row seat for the latest modeling challenges within Treasury, and you will gather hands-on experience in both full balance sheet and product modeling. In our balance sheet modeling function, we explore how our balance sheet will behave under various economic scenarios, in particular, the response to various interest rate shocks. And of course, balance sheet modeling is not possible without having models for the various products on our balance sheet, such as non-maturity deposits or margin loans. Developing and refining such models is the core mission of our product modeling team. This involves analyzing large amounts of data, synthesizing information for senior stakeholders and developing forecasting models based on our analytical insights. If this is you and you are looking forward to having an impactful summer within the dynamic Treasury modeling organization, we would love to hear from you.
Come “challenge the status quo” for the Summer of 2026 and learn what is means to be the next generation of Schwab change makers!
