What you have
Required Skills
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
10+ years of experience in software engineering, including 3–5+ years in people leadership roles
Proven experience managing medium to large, complex programs with multiple dependencies
Experience in financial services or brokerage domain preferred Technical & Leadership Expertise
Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and enterprise software engineering practices
Experience building and operating highly available, scalable distributed systems
Hands-on experience or strong exposure to mainframe and modern distributed ecosystems
AI & Modern Engineering Capabilities
Demonstrated experience driving AI-assisted engineering adoption & AI-DLC
Familiarity with Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI coding assistants) and their application in enterprise environments
Understanding of automation, agentic workflows, and AI-driven productivity acceleration (preferred practical exposure)
Leadership & Soft Skills
Strong coaching, mentoring, and talent development capabilities
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, globally distributed environments
Self-starter with strong prioritization and multitasking capabilities
Technical Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to analyze, propose and implement timely, cost effective, quality solutions for all issues or problems within area of responsibility
Demonstrated ability to facilitate technical discussions and drive solutions forward to achieve business needs and ensure alignment to strategic technology vision
Demonstrated past experience with designing or working with highly available and reliable systems including work on technical design, defining SLAs, KPIs for tracking and improving software reliability
Experience facilitating issue intervention and driving improvements
Skills in risks identification, tracking and planned mitigation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preffered Skills
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and continuous delivery practices
•Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Rally, ChangeMan, BMC Remedy
•Experience leading large-scale modernization programs using GenAI and automation
•Proven ability to drive innovation, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional programs
