The Specialist will be part of the Credit Operations Team and will be providing operational and administrative support for the Fixed Income Research Team who is responsible for creating and implementing credit policies, establishing risk parameters, and monitoring regulatory and internal guidelines for issuers in the SMA Strategies and Municipal Bond Fund portfolios. The individual will be working in a collaborative environment by interacting daily with portfolio management teams and credit research analysts. Flexibility and extreme attention to detail, taking initiative, and the ability to meet multiple competing deadlines is vital to success in this position. The right candidate should also be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, daily-deadline-driven environment.  

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Monitoring of EMMA Alerts and rating agency alerts (S&P, Moody’s, Fitch)
  • Assignment of analyst tasks in the Workfront application
  • Verify proper linking of obligors and linking appropriately as needed
  • Perform SMA and Muni Bond Fund Surveillance Review process
  • Reconciliation of data within multiple applications to ensure data integrity
  • Assist with providing operational support for ESG related strategies
  • Responsible for generating various reports for the Research Team
  • Create and update desktop procedures to support cross-training and onboarding

What you have


  • Bachelor’s degree, required
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience within the financial services industry
  • Advanced Excel skills (V-look Up, Pivot tables, Formulas)
  • Experience with Bloomberg (API, Exporting Data), Investortools, Aladdin
  • Attention to detail with an emphasis on data integrity and accuracy
  • Good time management/ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Creative thought process focusing on continuous process improvement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
