We are the Digital Store Experience (DSE) team, and we are responsible for the overall digital marketing experience on schwab.com (public and client sites) for both prospects and clients. We are dedicated to delivering modern digital experiences at scale through research-based, data-driven optimizations, digital store consultations for partners, and leveraging digital best practices and operational efficiency.

The Digital Marketing, Sr. Manager is responsible for understanding and translating the needs of the Digital Store (schab.com) with the use of technology. This role combines expertise in digital strategy, product management, business analysis, and project management to drive innovative Digital Store solutions. The position focuses on aligning business and marketing objectives with digital initiatives and capabilities and delivering impactful user experiences through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates will bring a well-rounded skillset spanning across strategic, marketing and technical disciplines and have a healthy appetite for solving challenges.

What you’ll do:

Expectations of the Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing: 

  • Assist with strategy development, project management, lead activation and rollout of technical capabilities and UX optimizations across schwab.com

  • Lead discovery and business analysis: capture business problems/goals/workflows; translate needs into requirements, acceptance criteria, and backlog items that engineering and publishing can execute.

  • Partner with CMS product/tech on platform migrations and performance (e.g., Next.js initiatives, component frameworks, UX optimizations); align on PI planning and quarterly roadmaps.

  • Work with program management, Marketing, business and technical partners, to identify solutions to business problems from a cross-enterprise perspective

  • Participate in Use Case discovery workshops, identify Use Cases/User Stories, build detailed requirements and other artifacts through use of tools (eg. Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, etc)

  • Work well in a variety of project delivery frameworks including Agile Scrum and Kanban

  • Plan and execute multi‑phase roadmaps (e.g., meganav redesign and rollout, template activation, Next.js migration, Standards & Guidelines implementation) with clear stage gates and stakeholder readouts.

  • Apply project management rigor to ensure projects are being met and aligned to established roadmaps

  • Ability to build strong relationships across the company and influence partners; being results-oriented and adaptable; having and feeling ownership of your roadmap and strategy

You will deliver: 

  • Project/Product Roadmaps along with tactical execution and solution implementation

  • UX consultations and solutions with marketing, business, and technology partners

  • Use cases/user stories including cross-domain dependencies

  • Agile epics and stories (capabilities and features)

  • Analysis of business processes

  • Current state, target state, gap analysis and process models

  • Requirements development

  • QA and/or UAT test cases

  • Testing and validation processes

  • Business rollout, training, and adoption

  • Standards, guidelines, and training materials

  • Project roadmaps and timelines

What you have

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager, BA, Project Manager, and Digital Strategist 
  • Product management: backlog ownership, discovery, prioritization, and outcome‑based roadmapping for web/app experiences.

  • User Experience (UX) strategy: problem identification and discovery, user testing, solution concepting

  • Digital marketing & growth: funnel optimization, content strategy, SEO, A/B testing; fluency with tools like Optimizely and partner‑run experimentation.

  • Current working experience with Schwab processes and systems
  • Business analysis: process mapping, requirements/user stories, cross‑enterprise solutioning; comfort working in “gray space.”

  • Project/program management (Agile): sprint planning, PI planning, dependency/risk management

  • Experience in the financial industry is a plus

  • Experience with Agile methodology

  • Knowledge of JIRA or Confluence

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the financial industry is a plus

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
