As a member of our Site Reliability Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a suite of modern software development tools that empower our engineering teams to build, test, and deploy software efficiently and securely. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our development infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring the platforms’ reliability, scalability, and usability for infrastructure-wide development experience.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- 6-8+ years of experience in system engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure support
- 4-5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong hands-on experience with GitHub ecosystem and CI/CD tools
- Proficiency with both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with security practices including certificate management and patching
- Solid understanding of networking, authentication, and access control
- Excellent troubleshooting, scripting, and automation skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Strong communication and documentation abilities. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and processes (Agile, Kanban)
- Ability to support and mentor users, including running office hours and providing technical guidance.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, platform governance, and automation best practices.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or related field, or an additional 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or other cloud technologies
- Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience working in 5,000+ users’ environment
- Experience in Change Control process (Remedy/Helix)
- Comfort level with the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo)
- Knowledge of security standards, compliance, and Role Based Access Control (RBAC) in automation environments.
