The Managed & Alts Product Marketing team owns positioning and go-to-market strategy and execution for Schwab's retail and institutional wealth management solutions, investment management products, and alternative investment offers. The team develops positioning and launches marketing programs that drive growth, engagement, and retention across this high-priority suite of offers.

The Marketing Manager will focus on enrolled client communications and hands-on marketing execution. They will develop communications that help clients understand and engage with their investment offers, while also supporting broader marketing initiatives through coordinated, multi-channel execution. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented marketer who can manage multiple workstreams, coordinate partners, and move communications efficiently from concept through approval and delivery.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Manage ongoing communications for clients enrolled in managed investing solutions, including onboarding communications, quarterly performance updates, monthly newsletters, and other recurring programs.
  • Partner with other marketers as well as client experience, sales, asset management, product, business, and compliance teams to evaluate and improve client communication journeys, engagement, and retention.
  • Support the development and execution of marketing initiatives across web pages, email campaigns, banner advertising, brochures, pitch books, print materials, and other collateral.
  • Coordinate the creative development lifecycle by gathering requirements, managing stakeholder feedback, facilitating review cycles, and maintaining clear communication across partners.
  • Manage content approval workflows, routing, timelines, and project documentation to keep multiple concurrent workstreams moving forward.
  • Coordinate compliance reviews and approvals, and partner with publishing and production teams to deliver web, email, and print communications.
  • Maintain, renew, and govern existing marketing assets to ensure content remains accurate, current, and compliant.
  • Provide proactive status updates, identify issues and dependencies, and help drive timely resolution across cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with analytics teams to review campaign and communication performance, including email engagement, web traffic, content utilization, and other relevant marketing metrics.

What you have


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of marketing, marketing communications, campaign management, marketing operations, or related experience.
  • Experience coordinating multi-channel marketing deliverables, such as digital content, email, web, print, advertising, or sales collateral.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, stakeholders, and review cycles simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide concise status updates, explain issues, and coordinate decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships and work effectively across creative, compliance, publishing, product, and business teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience supporting regulated review and approval processes preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Product marketing, segment marketing, channel marketing, client communications, lifecycle marketing, or campaign management experience.
  • Financial services or investment product experience.
  • Experience with Workfront or a comparable workflow and project management platform.
  • Familiarity with campaign reporting and the ability to interpret performance results in partnership with analytics teams.
