Manager, Local Marketing
Your Opportunity
Your opportunity
The Manager, Local Marketing, is an individual contributor who partners with local branches to develop integrated marketing plans that drive new leads, conversions, and client consolidations within that community. The Manager is responsible for partnering with branch leaders to set the strategy, developing and implementing the execution plan to help nurture these opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle. The ideal candidate can quickly establish strong partnerships and has a good understanding of relationship marketing channels, including events, social media, advertising, PR and corporate sponsorships. Building strong relationships with our sales force -- and understanding the local communities, demographics and psychographics of that local audience -- are keys to success in this role. It is expected that 15% of the Manager's time is spent in the local markets they support.

- Collaborate daily with the local branch partners to act as their marketing and lead gen thought partner: identify opportunities, deepen the engagements, and coach Financial Consultants on meeting identified goals
- Develop annual marketing plan that elevates the branch network within the local community, delivers leads and provides opportunities to nurture these relationships
- Build and maintain effective working partnerships across the Marketing organization (PR, local advertising, events, social media, sponsorships and memberships)
- Proactively identify new growth opportunities for the branch teams, and help them to determine and execute related plans
- Act as an accountable partner in the local branch team’s success, and advocate on behalf of this team
- Participate in regional business calls to provide guidance for achieving success and share best practices across the network
- Collaborate closely with other Local Marketing managers to share best practices, discuss trends, vet ideas, and identify opportunities for driving further growth
- Develop quarterly Marketing performance reports to track and calibrate performance to-date and recommend improvements for subsequent quarters
- Oversee annual budget
- Be a trusted business partner to the branch network, peers on the Local Marketing team, and across Central Marketing
What you have

- Ability to work autonomously, proven self-starter
- Attention to detail, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills
