Training for success

As a new Client Service and Support team member, you will participate in our six-month Schwab Service Academy (SSA) that’s designed to set you up for success. Lead by a team of professional mentors, the program will help expand your understanding of financial concepts and give you hands-on experience working with real Schwab clients in a controlled setting. As a CS&S professional you will receive a variety of calls from Schwab clients, listen to a sample phone call.

Learn more about the Charles Schwab Foundation and Moneywise America™, our flagship financial literacy program designed to give teens the skills they need to be financially fit, with a focus on reaching youth in under-resourced communities and schools.

What do I wear?

Client Service and Support encourages you to 'dress for your day'. What does that mean? Think about your activities or interactions you may have throughout the day and make appropriate outfit choices to help you feel confident and comfortable.

  • Meeting with executives or clients? Wear business attire, such as a suit.
  • Business as usual? Go casual, wear nice jeans or slacks paired with a button-up or polo shirt.

Dress for your day examples

  • Dos: jeans, khakis and slacks, dresses and skirts, blouses, collared shirts, sweaters and cardigans, polo shirts, loafers, heels, sandals with a strap on the back, clean sneakers
  • Avoid: jeans with holes or rips, dirty, wrinkled, or worn clothing, excessively tight or revealing clothing, clothing that references profanity, politics, or other sensitive topics, t-shirts, sweatpants and yoga pants, well-loved sweatshirts, flip-flops, dirty or worn shoes, hats, shorts
